1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or playing Kwest you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Your account
Kwest creates an anonymous account tied to your installation. You are responsible for the device you play on. Because accounts are anonymous, losing access to a device may mean losing access to that progress.
3. Coins and purchases
Coins are a virtual, consumable in-game item. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are licensed to you rather than owned by you. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and refunds are handled under those stores' policies. Coin balances, purchases and rewards are validated on our servers; balances altered by tampering may be corrected or removed.
4. Acceptable use
Do not cheat, reverse engineer the app, interfere with our servers, use automated clients, or submit content (including display names and clue suggestions) that is unlawful, hateful or infringing. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Content you submit
If you submit a clue, name or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it within Kwest. You confirm you have the right to grant that licence.
6. Our content
Kwest, its words, clues, artwork and software are ours or our licensors'. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
7. Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Kwest, including levels and features. We aim to give notice of significant changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Kwest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Kwest is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using Kwest at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kwest is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
