The short version
Kwest does not ask for your name, email address or phone number to play. We create an anonymous account for your device so your progress survives a reinstall, and we do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Anonymous account identifier. A random ID that ties your progress to your installation. It is not linked to a real-world identity.
- Gameplay data. Levels attempted and completed, clues revealed, coin balance and transactions, boosters used, trophies and streaks, and any display name you choose.
- Purchase records. Receipts and entitlement status for coin packs, processed through the App Store or Google Play and validated via RevenueCat. We never receive your card details.
- Advertising and device data. Google AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, subject to your device-level ad tracking settings.
- Diagnostics. Basic error and performance information used to fix crashes.
Why we collect it
To run the game: save your progress, keep coin balances and purchases accurate and fraud-free, show leaderboards, serve ads where applicable, and improve the levels and clues based on which ones players find impossible.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database and anonymous authentication), Render (application hosting), RevenueCat (purchase validation), and Google AdMob (advertising). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Storage on your device
Kwest keeps an encrypted local copy of your game data so it works offline and starts quickly. Deleting the app removes that local copy.
Children
Kwest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings, and you can ask us to delete your account data by emailing support@kwestapp.com from the device in question. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct or port your data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
